Job OverviewThe Sr. Director of Program Management will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational processes that support our product development lifecycle. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Operations, this position will lead release management and manage a team of program managers throughout the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of driving collaboration across departments to ensure that product offerings align with market demands, adhere to timelines, and maintain high-quality standards. Additionally, this role will focus on integrating AI capabilities to enhance efficiency and decision-making within the PDLC.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage the program management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee release management processes to ensure seamless product launches and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and systems for product development, from ideation through launch and post-launch analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and other go-to-market teams to align product strategies and execution plans.
- Leverage AI-driven insights and automation to optimize program management processes and decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform operational decisions and enhance outcomes.
- Drive the evaluation and integration of new tools and technologies, including AI-based solutions, to enhance operational efficiencies and team productivity.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and capacity planning related to PM resources and programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet business objectives.
- Serve as a key point of contact (escalation path) for internal and external stakeholders regarding program management and initiatives.
- Identify and escalate risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful product delivery and organizational goals are met.

- Execute dependency planning and tracking.
- Execute PDLC for complex AOP programs
- Optimize release management processes to improve efficiency and delivery timelines.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies such as Agile and Lean.
- Proven experience in managing release management and overseeing program managers.
- Experience with AI-driven tools and methodologies to improve program management efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in program management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Aha, Pendo) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Looker, Tableau).
