Senior HRIS Analyst
Summary
SUMMARY: Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of various Human Resources management systems, including table maintenance, report construction and distribution, and information security; partners with HR leadership and their customers to analyze work process design and flow, improves processes and leverages the return on technological capabilities.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE:The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.

Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches; collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix; maintains HRMS system tables; documents process and results.

Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with monitoring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs; assists in maintaining data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation; trains clients on new processes/functionality; trains new system users.

Works with others in HR to document process flows and seek ways to create more efficient processes.

Acts as point of contact on assigned projects, performs duties such as: assembling, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams; creating detailed work plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project, and monitor the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary.

Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or other closely related field.
Required Experience: Five years HRIS-related experience.
Preferred Experience: Experience in implementing HRIS/Payroll/Benefits systems/procedures; experience with Lawson, experience within a union environment; experience with analyzing data and creating and using HR dashboards.
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Certification in HR Data Analytics.
