What You Will Do: Reporting to the CHRO, the HRIS & Total Rewards Director will simultaneously oversee and be hands-on with all aspects of the organization's HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now), compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are aligned with company goals, growth, and comply with regulations.This role includes designing and implementing total rewards strategies and processes, managing the HRIS system and integrations, and partnering with operations on people analytics.You will primarily work from our Minneapolis, MN, office with the flexibility to work remotely from home up to two days per week. Key Focus Areas: Evolve the HRIS ADP WFN system, fields & reporting to align with company growth, ensuring accurate data management, positive user experience (manager / employee self-service), effective integrations with other systems, & efficiency through streamlined workflows. Manage the design, implementation, & administration of the company s total rewards philosophy (connecting to performance & market data) & systems, the annual merit process & bonus programs, & other compensation initiatives that may occur. Lead, coach, & mentor the HRIS & Total Rewards team (3 FTEs), fostering a collaborative & high-performing environment. Establish & sustain productive working relationships with leaders & HR team members, partnering & guiding on HR & business issues at both strategic & operational levels. Partner & manage the total rewards budget with Finance, ensuring cost-effectiveness & alignment with organizational goals. Provide requirements, data fields & formulas to PowerBI partners to automate HRIS data outputs, focusing on the identification of trends, patterns, & areas for improvement, & provide relevant reports to stakeholders. Partner internally with accounting payroll specialists and HR generalists to effectively administer biweekly multi-state payroll, onboarding, offboarding and other functions managed by the HRIS system. Partner with vendors for HRIS, benefits administration, and other related services to ensure service levels meet the organization s needs. Develop & implement communication strategies to effectively communicate total rewards information to HR, managers & employees. Ensure all compensation, benefits, & HRIS practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay up to date on HR trends and best practices, with a special focus on AI, continuously seeking ways to improve HR processes and outcomes. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, HRIS, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field A minimum of eight years of HRIS and Total Rewards experience; a minimum of five years at a leader level. High degree of knowledge of the front and backend of ADP Workforce Now HRIS & Payroll. Ability to identify opportunities for improvement within workflows, processes & the HRIS, as well as develop strategies, influence decision-makers and implement solutions. Hands-on experience with system integrations between ADP Workforce Now & other internal systems. (Other internal systems include Salesforce, Active Directory and Deltek Vantagepoint.) Strong Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) & database knowledge & skills. Proven ability to develop relationships with individuals at all organizational levels. Ability to navigate multiple requests, manage projects to meet deadlines & resolve conflicting priorities. Strong business acumen: A/E/C industry experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to create & lead training for HRIS and Total Rewards initiatives. Valid driver s license, clean driving record, and the ability to work from various locations.
