Job OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Senior Director of Quality Assurance to lead our QA strategy and execution across our B2B SaaS platform. This leader will own the vision, implementation, and scaling of quality practices that ensure product excellence, customer satisfaction, and engineering velocity. The ideal candidate is experienced in building and managing high-performing QA teams, driving automation initiatives, and embedding quality into the software development lifecycle.

ResponsibilitiesQA Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with product and engineering roadmaps.
- Build and scale a world-class QA organization, including functional, performance, and automation testing teams.
- Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across engineering, product, and support teams.
Automation & Tooling:
- Lead the adoption and expansion of test automation frameworks across API, UI, and performance layers.
- Partner with DevOps and Engineering to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure tooling supports efficient regression coverage, test case management, and release readiness.
Process & Governance:
- Establish clear QA processes, metrics, and reporting to drive accountability and transparency.
- Define and manage quality KPIs including defect leakage, test coverage, and cycle time.
- Implement governance across release readiness, risk assessments, and post-release quality reviews.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support to align quality goals with customer needs.
- Participate in architectural reviews, sprint planning, and release planning to ensure QA input is integrated early.
- Support compliance and security initiatives with proper validation practices and traceability.
Qualifications- 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience leading QA for B2B SaaS products, ideally in a multi-tenant or cloud-native environment.
- Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter), and automation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Strong understanding of agile development processes and SDLC best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred- Experience with quality in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Exposure to performance testing, chaos engineering, and production monitoring practices.
- Background in both manual and automated testing across web, API, and mobile platforms.
- Experience in PE-backed or fast-scaling SaaS companies is a plus.
