Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and strategic Sr. Manager, Delivery to lead cross-functional software development teams in delivering high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving agile practices, fostering team performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration across stakeholders.You will be accountable for software delivery, leading a multi-disciplined, highly skilled and motivated team or teams. You will be accountable for determining ‘how’ to achieve the agreed business outcome, for iterative delivery and for optimising our team's productivity.

ResponsibilitiesDelivery
- Facilitate the team to deliver software which achieves the predetermined objectives using the appropriate agile methodology and provide ongoing applications and systems support where
appropriate. - Tracking sprint progress and deliverables using burndown charts, measure team performance and continually improve, based on the resultant analysis
- Lead conversation with the product owners and translate the ‘what’ into the ‘how’ and to define the backlog and release plans for the current focus
- Lead the collaborative dynamic planning process implementing improvement as we progress
- Follow the SDLC to ensure all products are built to the highest level of quality appropriate to the business objectives
- Match the work to be done against the capacity and capability of the team raising risk where necessary
- Support delivery of key strategic initiatives
Communication
- Dependency Management - Engage with other teams and stakeholders to ensure they understand the objectives of your team/s and the work being done and generate commitment to goals at all levels
- Ensure that the team(s) are aware of the business reasons and value underpinning the work they do
- Actively participate in the delivery manager community, share and benefit from the lessons of other teams, bring in best-practice, and leverage our Group capabilities
- Provide status updates to stakeholders
Team
- Support, guide and facilitate the team to be high performing
- Enable the work of the team by removing obstacles, or blockers to progress, constantly helping the team become more self-organising
- Scheduling and facilitating agile ceremonies, and decision-making processes.
- Work closely with product to ensure the team has enough work to plan their upcoming sprints based on the product’s priorities
- Helping the product manager and development team to achieve stakeholder satisfaction
- Line manage the multi-disciplinary team including:
- Recruitment & Selection
- Headcount planning
- Performance management (behaviours, personal development)
Qualifications- Minimum of 10+ years' experience
- Certified scrum master advantageous
- PMP an asset
- Demonstrable experience improving teams' performance
- Be able to line manage multidisciplinary teams
- Excel at delivering value from Agile methodologies, ensuring just enough process is used
- Motivate and lead teams
- Be accustomed to delivering at pace
- Spot warning signs of things going wrong and provide a decisive response
- Identify the main issues in complex problems
- Exemplify positive customer service behaviours and promote a culture focused on ensuring customer needs are met
- Have clear operational awareness and be able to balance the need for new features with the need to maintain and support the existing systems
- Maintain exemplary performance in difficult and challenging circumstances, encouraging others to do the same
- Effectively manage team dynamics when working across Departmental and other boundaries
- Demonstrate experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity

Compensation and BenefitsWe accept applications for this position on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and qualified candidates may be contacted throughout the posting period.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $130,000-150,000 annually. Additional compensation for this role includes a bonus eligibility, which is based on personal, department and/or company performance, where applicable. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
