Summary/Objective
The Hiring Consultant is responsible for selling background checks to net new clients and our existing customer base. This role involves identifying and engaging with existing clients and potential clients, conducting product demonstrations, and managing the sales process from prospecting to closing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a deep understanding of SaaS products, and a proven track record in sales. This position requires a proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets.
Core Job Duties
- Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
- Maintain and update a database of prospects.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, highlighting the features and benefits of the background checks solution.
- Customize presentations to address specific client needs and pain points.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
- Develop and maintain sales pipelines, ensuring timely follow-up with prospects and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and after the sale.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements.
- Close sales deals, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the implementation and support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns they may have.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' products.
- Continuously improve product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and sales performance metrics.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for management.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Provide feedback to the product team on client needs and potential product improvements.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
