Job OverviewAs a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the iCIMS Labs team, and will maintain and enhance the toolchain infrastructure to provide a customer experience second to none for our Labs engineers and others that use our services. You will report to the Manager, Automation Engineering while working independently to build and deploy toolchain and other systems that address the needs of the teams in AWS as well as integrate with hosted (SaaS) systems subscribed to by the Labs team. You will be responsible for provisioning, support, and issue resolution of development and test servers as well as development tools and applications.

Responsibilities- Gathers requirements from development staff, formulates plans, and deploys develop toolchain system
- Supports all servers in development, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.
- Monitors, logs, resolves, and escalates issues with development, test, and supporting applications ensuring all services are available and secure
- Participates in Incident manager rotation
- Works on special projects within team and Labs at large
- Fully versed in cloud (AWS) networking concepts, routing protocols
- Implements authentication and authorization of systems using Okta
- Administers security, patching, and develops automation scripting using various scripting languages and technologies
- Develops operations procedures to ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues
- Works cross-functionally with Cloud Hosting, InfoSec, Engineering, Corporate Technology teams as needed
- Provides regular status reports and gather requirements from departments and internal customers and provides input into the infrastructure products that are bought or built
- Documents and maintains operational procedures, develop and oversee project plans, and implements change control procedures. Participate in technical advisory roles, as required
Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer systems or operation/production environment
- Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Power user, administrator, and/or automation experience in the following: Jenkins, SonarQube, and Bitbucket/Gitlab/Github
- Familiarity with IaaC and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible and CloudFormation/Terraform)
- Fluent in at least one programming or scripting language: Python, Groovy/Java, SQL, or Bash
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Good interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments/tasks simultaneously and achieve results
- Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, changing environment that is going through high growth
- A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative, who can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend and/or take actions
- Demonstrated customer service and results orientation
