As a Lead, IT and Systems Administrator, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our tech running smoothly and securely. You’ll manage and monitor our network systems, making sure everything is fast, efficient, and always available. From troubleshooting hardware and software to performing regular security audits, you’ll ensure we’re always one step ahead of potential threats.

As a Lead, IT and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for leading and shaping the strategy and execution of IT operations, ensuring the security, efficiency, and scalability of our systems. In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success in delivering exceptional technical support and maintaining robust IT infrastructure.
- Drive operational excellence by overseeing the distribution and management of corporate technology, including laptops, mobile devices, office equipment, and cloud-based communication tools, ensuring seamless support for both in-office and distributed teams.
- Champion security and compliance by partnering with leadership to uphold best practices in cybersecurity and privacy, supporting audits (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2), vulnerability scanning, and risk assessments, while maintaining up-to-date asset and security risk tracking.
- Elevate employee onboarding by developing and refining processes that ensure all new hires receive the appropriate hardware and software setup to be productive from day one.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support IT needs for key initiatives, including marketing and sales roadshows, client events, conventions, and other company-wide projects.
- Foster innovation by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, implement new technologies, and enhance the overall IT experience for the organization.
- Respond to and resolve escalations by stepping in to assist the team with complex troubleshooting, technical challenges, and major system updates or rollouts.
- Build and refine best practices to optimize IT operations and support continuous improvement, ensuring the department evolves in alignment with the organization’s growth.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4+ years experience in Technology/IT Support, IT Administrator, System Administration, Information Security or similar role
- Experience as a team lead or direct manager, including mentoring, coaching, and driving team performance
- A passion and knowledge of technology principles and systems
- Primarily a Mac shop, but knowledge of installing and troubleshooting Mac OS, iOS, Linux tower, Google Apps, Cloud-based phones, Zoom conference rooms, Mosyle, Atera (or similar RMM)
- Experience managing MDM or other security management console
- Experience managing IT programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals
- An ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across functions of the company and to users of various technical abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work from our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters
- Authorization to work in the United States
