Day to day as a Product Manager
As a Product Manager at isolved, your daily responsibilities will revolve around understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable product features. You will regularly engage in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to prioritize product backlog and roadmap initiatives. Core Job Duties
- Manage platform feature set to support general experience and common components in the application.
- Work with engineers to scope, design and implement capabilities
- Identify market trends to shape product lines
- Conduct product research, requirements-gathering, and product rollout
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps
- Using relevant criteria, review and prioritize the product roadmap
- Define design processes for innovation and scalability of current and new product lines
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects across multiple teams
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience defining detailed technical user stories and use cases
- 2+ years of product management experience.
- Be familiar with Agile processes and environments, and define key metrics for measuring product success
- Strong background in project/program management.
- Demonstrated experience building user experiences and platform capabilities for web products.
- Have the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must be flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the HR, Payroll or Benefits industry
- Experience with HCM software
