The HRIS Analyst is responsible for partnering with HR process owners and business partners, to evaluate, select, design/configure, test, implement and support the appropriate technology-based Human Resources solutions to enhance HR business processes.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock:
Provide support for new / enhanced technology tools to meet HR business process requirements

Partner with HR business process owners, to define requirements for technology systems / tools

Identify appropriate technology tools to meet business needs, in collaboration with IT partners and HR process owners
-
Contribute to the business cases for technology tool selection and implementation

Partner with Procurement team to identify appropriate vendors / support negotiation of contracts where required

Lead the configuration and design work for new tools and systems
-
Manage all phases of HR technology project implementation, including coordination and guidance of resources from IT, HR, Communications and other groups as required

Define interface / integration requirements with HR systems where needed

Prepare data conversion and migration plans where required

Participate in the development of communications and training materials to support the successful deployment of the tools

Plan, execute and manage all user testing activities

Manage implementation and \u2018go live\u2019 activities, including transition plans and production support

Serve as a key change agent in the implementation of changes to systems & processes by leading organizational readiness, driving adoption strategies, and empowering stakeholders through thoughtful communication and training initiatives.
Enhance HR technology tools and systems in Production

Review emerging business requirements to determine needed tool updates and configuration changes
-
Where required, partner with IT partners to define enhancements needed, and prioritize requests based on business value

Testing and implementation of enhancements, to confirm usability and to ensure requirements are met

Partner with HR business process owners, to implement / update processes and procedures for all enhancements

Develop / update communications and training materials to reflect new enhancements to the tools and processes
Provide on-going support for HR system user community

Ensure processes and procedures are in-place to accurately maintain all employee data globally

Manage / update HR system configuration to reflect changes to business requirements

Support the HR Reporting and Analytics team as needed

Manage interface processes to ensure integrity of data to all third parties, including payroll vendors and talent management systems

Participate in Corporate and third-party audits as needed, including data gathering, process review and issue resolution

System configuration and support for acquisitions or divestitures
What you need to succeed:

Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
-
2 to 5 years of experience managing HR system configuration, maintenance, and deployment
-
Knowledge of Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft or other HR systems

Knowledge of Cornerstone, Avature and/or other Talent Management systems
-
Strong interest, desire and capability to work in HR Technical Systems
-
Capability to manage HR technology projects, including coordination of resources needed

Ability to create and manage training and testing strategies
-
Strong communication skills and demonstrated analytical skills
-
Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team-oriented environment, with an emphasis on total customer satisfaction

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
