Job Description
Job Summary:
The HRIS Manager serves as a strategic advisor and systems expert, bridging HR technology and business needs. This role combines deep functional knowledge of Workday modules (e.g., Core HCM, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Payroll, Reporting, and Security) with consultative engagement skills and strong emotional intelligence to influence, support, and guide HR, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders. The HRIS Manager is expected to have a specialization in 3-4 Workday modules and a strong working knowledge of most modules.
Job Duties:

Lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday modules, ensuring alignment with HR strategy and business goals.

Architect scalable Workday solutions with cross-functional impact, proactively assessing release notes and future changes.

Serve as a subject matter expert in Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting and Advanced Compensation modules, overseeing configurations, testing, troubleshooting, and release management.

Build strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand needs and translate them into system solutions.

Guide stakeholders through system capabilities, business process improvements, and change impacts with professionalism and emotional intelligence.

Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between HRIS processes and downstream systems.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation across HR functions, outlining pros, cons, and risks of proposed solutions.

Design, build, test, and maintain Workday EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) to support data loads and business process automation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Develop advanced reports and dashboards using custom, composite, and matrix reporting tools to support data driven decision making.

Manage projects related to new Workday functionality and enhancements, including planning, testing, rollout, and documentation.

Prioritize work assignments and oversee functional team resources to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, HR or Information Systems; or equivalent work experience.

10+ years of professional experience, preferably with ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of comprehensive experience in Workday HCM, customer-facing HR systems consultation, business process design and documentation, and end-to-end project management including implementation, optimization, and strategic guidance.

Deep expertise in following Workday functional areas: HCM, Time Tracking, Absence & Advance Compensation.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Workday tools

Ability to troubleshoot and solution across various applications, while identifying potential impact to current processes and/or downstream effect.
