Why This Job Is a Big Deal!
The HRIS Manager is responsible for the support and daily maintenance of OTG’s HCM system (Ceridian Dayforce). This position is also the first point of contact in the company’s Human Resources Center of Excellence which supports 5,000+ Crewmembers across the organization.
In This Role, You Will:
Perform daily data projects to support our field teams – examples include generating attendance data, auditing company badge records, and ensuring proper usage of Dayforce across the organization through targeted audits
Serves as the initial Human Resources point of contact for all employee inquiries. These questions will be sent to the corporate office Center of Excellence via our HR ticketing system and phone calls.
Ensure that all employee inquiries are handled efficiently and in a way that provides great customer service
Work with operations managers and HR business partner on follow up steps for employee inquiries if needed
Submit employee transactions such as new hire forms, compensation changes, leave requests, and termination
Conduct ongoing HRIS data integrity initiatives
Provide support on yearly HR projects including performance reviews, workplace harassment/cyber security trainings, and merit increases
Provide day to day feedback to terminals concerning scheduling and timesheet concerns
Maintain the schedules and timesheets for the terminals
Ability to conduct and maintain shift bids
Create shift bid templates
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years of Human Resources experience
Prior scheduling experience is a plus
Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a large-scale enterprise HRIS system (Dayforce, Workday, PeopleSoft, etc)
Detail-oriented with a baseline understanding of how to pull data from an HRIS system
Positive person who wants to directly support employees in a forward-facing HR role
Prior experience working in a ticketing system is a plus
Friendly demeanor that is comfortable answering questions on the phone
Proficient in Excel
Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to effectively communicate information to employees and management
Experience with timesheets and scheduling is preferred.
