Job Title: HRIS Associate
Job Type: Full time; ( Open Ended)
Location: Herndon, VA or Miami, FL or Mobile, AL
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate: $40/hr
Primary Responsibilities:
HRIS maintenance and improvement projects : 50%
Contribute to maintaining optimally functioning HR systems, which may include installation, administration, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules

Proactively identify and propose HRIS and HRMS improvements and implement upgrades based on organizational needs

Partner with HR, IM/IT and Data Privacy offices to develop and integrate workflows and automation features to address company needs

Ensure HRIS system compliance with federal and state regulations, data security and privacy requirements

Serve as a strategic partner and Subject Matter Expert representing Company interests with HRIS suppliers, vendors and service providers.
HR Data and Reporting:30%

Build reports to meet requests of the HR organization, Senior Leadership and Managers, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiencies along the way

Proactively apply analytical and research skills to monitor trends and elevate issues

Assist on the design, support and coordinate the development of business relevant analytics and processes; includes researching industry best practices, benchmarks and tools to incorporate into analytics practices

Maintain HR databases, audit data, and propose business process improvements and automation

Maintain the organizational management structure to ensure the hierarchy is accurate and reflects up-to-date information for positions, reporting relationships, compensation data, cost centers, EEO reporting, worker’s compensation, Global HR reporting, and alignment.

Assist in ensuring data audits, integrity, testing of system changes, report writing/running/scheduling, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Support/Collaboration: 20 %

Partner with HR operations, Information Technology, Compensation, Managers, and Global Data Governance teams to manage and improve the HR data quality.

Support upgrades, testing, and new integrations, and other projects as assigned.

Creates HR documentation for reporting and other HR processes.

Collaborate with HR/HRIS team members to ensure system usage consistency across regions.

Support employees and field questions and provide the appropriate guidance or direction to the employee.

Support HRBP’s by fielding questions about the HR tools.

Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for system users.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users of all HR systems.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in Human Resources or related fields.
Experience:
-
1+ years in a customer service, administrative, or human resources (including Employee Shared Service Center, HR Master Data) support role preferred.

Experience with ADP Vantage and/or Kronos is highly preferred.

Experience with Workday HCM Suite is highly preferred.

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
Technical Systems Proficiency:

ADP Vantage (or Kronos): HCM, Time and Payroll is a plus.

Workday: HCM and Time is a plus.

Familiarity with writing scripts, visual basic, basic coding (HTML).
Travel Required:
- 5 % Domestic and International.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:
Pay Details: $40.00 per hour
