Overview
The Associate Director, HRIS will be an integral member of the Somatus Human Resources team. The Associate Director, HRIS will be responsible for managing and enhancing our HRIS system, policies, processes, and procedures.
This is a fully remote position, with preference to work Eastern standard hours. Somatus does have a preference for a local candidate that may have a hybrid schedule to our office in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities

Implement and drive the strategic direction, development, and design of the HR technology vision, strategy, and implementation path.

Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.

Manage UKG HRIS modules and system upgrades, including the design and testing of new functionality and system integrations.

Collaborate with HR leadership and departmental leaders to develop systems and process roadmaps to support all stakeholders.

Optimize all HRIS systems to meet workforce growth requirements, creating opportunities for delivering operational excellence and automation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all policies, practices, and procedures.

Implement data governance processes and procedures to maintain data integrity and security.

Creates, identifies, and implements innovative methodologies, techniques, process improvements, and evaluation criteria to streamline and improve service delivery and people operations continually.

Review, implement, and continuously update all HR policies, ensuring inclusivity and compliance with all labor laws and regulations.

Effectively manage all HITRUST requirements to ensure HR processes and data management comply with HITRUST regulations, participative member of the HITRUST committee and main point of contact for the HR team.

Lead and attract top talent, motivate, assess, and manage performance to achieve the highest and best use of talent.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, IT or related field.

Five (5) to seven (7) years working in HRIS.

Three (3) to five (5) years experience with UKG in an HRIS management-level role.

Experience implementing enhancements and new modules within UKG.

Analytical with the ability to interpret and synthesize data.
Physical Requirements
· This position is required to be on site in the McLean, VA office two (2) to three (3) days per week.
· This job operates in a professional office setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Normal manual dexterity is required.
