The HRIS Analyst evaluates, analyzes, designs, and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Responsible for end-to-end development, implementation, and ongoing support of business processes for HRIS capabilities at Jack Link’s. The role involves driving continuous improvement by supporting business process management and transitioning from current to future states.
The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

Provide lifecycle support for business process management, including requirements gathering, process mapping, UAT, data conversions, training, and system support.

Offering expertise and assistance in the implementation of HCM (Human Capital Management) tools, providing comprehensive support throughout the process.

Create and maintain documentation for HRIS processes and results, including process flows.
-
Ensure data integrity through approval flow of team member data in ESS portal.

Conduct root cause analysis on process/system issues, document system errors, and escalate for review and ticket creation.

Define and champion best practices for assigned functional business areas.

Collaborate with internal partners (IT, Finance, Payroll, HR) and external vendors.

Support HRIS upgrades, patches, and testing; create UAT scenarios and test scripts.

Automate business processes using application workflow technology, manage HRIS interfaces.

Define business requirements for system enhancements and fixes aligned with HR goals.

Identify reporting needs and utilize data warehouse capabilities for business intelligence (Power BI).

Define application security needs and ensure appropriate HRIS access for end users.

Support HRIS integration of acquisitions.

Perform other necessary duties and responsibilities.
Required Education:
- 4-year degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience).
Required Experience:
-
4+ years hands-on UKG Pro: Payroll experience.
-
4+ years hands-on UKG Pro: Time and Attendance experience.

Strong working knowledge of HCM/Payroll processes and HRIS capabilities.

Familiarity with time and attendance, applicant tracking, performance management systems (preferably UKG, SmartRecruiters, Cornerstone).

Experience in business process development, UAT, and writing detailed business requirements.

Proficiency in HR-specific KPIs, analytics, and BI tools.

Proficient in defining detailed business requirements for system enhancements.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Effective communication with internal and external partners.
