Overview
The HRIS Analyst I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role assists in system maintenance, reporting, and basic system configuration, while learning to support broader HR technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the day-to-day administration of HRIS systems, including data entry, user account setup, and routine audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Support HR staff and end-users by troubleshooting basic system issues and escalating more complex problems to senior analysts or vendors.
• Generate and distribute basic HR reports
• Participate in system testing for upgrades, patches, and new implementations
• Maintain HRIS documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials.
• Collaborate with HR team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Monitor data interfaces between HRIS and other systems (e.g., payroll, benefits) and troubleshoot discrepancies.
• Stay informed of HRIS trends and best practices to support continuous learning and development.
• Maintain data integrity and perform regular audits within the HRIS.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in HRIS or HR operations.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience
• Exposure to or experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG, iCIMS, TalentGuard, or JDE.
Travel Requirements
• Less than 10%.

Pay Range
USD $66,760.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
